
Wizards Acquire Javaris Crittenton

Bismarck, N.D. (February 2, 2011) - The Dakota Wizards announced today that they have acquired guard Javaris Crittenton (6-5 200, Georgia Tech) out of the NBA Development League player pool. Crittenton will practice with the team this week and be in uniform this weekend against the Maine Red Claws.
Crittenton was the 19th overall draft pick of the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2007 NBA Draft. He appeared in 22 games with the Lakers before being traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in February of 2008. Crittenton finished the2007- 2008 season with the Grizzlies and then was dealt to the Washington Wizards in December of 2008 and appeared in 56 games with Washington. The 6'5 200lb guard has appeared in 113 career NBA games (10 starts), averaging 5.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. Most recently, Crittenton played for the Zhejiang Lions of the Chinese League and averaged 25.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.6 assists in five games.
The active roster currently stands at 10 players.
