
Bakersfield Acquires Koch

BAKERSFIELD, February 2, 2011- The Bakersfield Jam have acquired a 6'8" forward Adam Koch from the available player pool, the team announced today.
"Adam comes from a winning program at Northern Iowa and fits our team culture well. He will shore up our front court and is a player that we look forward to developing," said Bakersfield Jam Head Coach Will Voigt.
Koch, the 2009-10 Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year, played collegiately for Northern Iowa and averaged 11.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists during his senior season. He participated in the NBA Summer League with the Indiana Pacers and most recently played overseas in the Czech Republic.
Koch is expected to join the Jam tomorrow and make his Bakersfield debut this Friday against the visiting Springfield Armor.
