Wise Returned to Indy

Rockford, Ill. - The American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs announced on Friday that they have reassigned forward Jamie Wise from Rockford to the ECHL's Indy Fuel.

Wise, 23, shows three goals and 11 penalty minutes in 22 contests with the IceHogs this season. The rookie forward scored in his AHL debut on Nov. 28 against the Chicago Wolves. The Stouffville, Ontario native has also appeared in 15 games with the Fuel this season, registering four points (1g-3a) and 12 PIMs.

Prior to turning pro, Wise spent two seasons with Ryerson University in Toronto. The 23 year-old paced the Rams with 45 points (21g-24a) in 2013-14 and was named team MVP and a CIS Second Team All-Canadian.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Mar. 7 vs. Grand Rapids Griffins. Face-off is at 7 p.m. It's red-out night at the BMO?as fans are encouraged to wear red and the first 1,500 people into the building will receive a special commemorative t-shirt compliments of Toyota. Following the game, all fans are invited onto the ice to participate in a postgame shootout for a chance to win pizza prizes courtesy of Papa John's.
