Amerks Partner with Rochester Business Alliance and Rochester Business Journal for Career Fair

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced that the team will partner with RBA Staffing and the Rochester Business Journal to host a Downtown Career Fair on Friday, March 27 at The Blue Cross Arena from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m.
The Downtown Career Fair is an opportunity for local job seekers to connect with Rochester-area businesses that are currently hiring. The event will be followed by a 7:05 p.m. game between the Amerks and Hamilton Bulldogs.
Businesses can reserve their spot at the Downtown Career Fair for $300 ($150 for 501c-3 non-profit organizations) by visiting www.amerks.com/careerfair. The cost includes one table, two free parking passes for the day, 20 tickets to the Amerks game to follow and complimentary refreshments. Job seeker registration for the event is free and includes one ticket voucher for a remaining Amerks home game. Job seekers must register in advance to attend the free event by visiting www.amerks.com/jobseeker.
"There are many good jobs available in the Rochester area. The challenge is connecting employers that have openings with qualified candidates," said Rochester Business Alliance President and CEO Bob Duffy. "This downtown career fair is a great one-stop opportunity for both employers and job seekers to make those connections. RBA Staffing is pleased to be a part of it."
