Jets Recall Eric O'Dell from St. John's IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets announced they have recalled forward Eric O'Dell from the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

O'Dell, 24, has played in 37 games this season with the St. John's IceCaps collecting 29 points (14G, 15A) and 34 penalty minutes. The Ottawa, ON native appeared in one game for the Jets during a recent recall, playing on Feb. 26 versus St. Louis. O'Dell has played in 31 games for the Jets in his career, collecting seven points (3G, 4A) and 12 penalty minutes. He led the St. John's IceCaps in scoring during the 2012-13 season with 55 points (29G, 26A) in 59 games. In his AHL career, O'Dell has collected 147 points (72G, 75A) and 122 penalty minutes in 180 games with St. John's and the Chicago Wolves. He was originally drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the second round, 39th overall, in the 2008 NHL Draft.
