Wisconsin Herd News Release
OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, have partnered with Oshkosh Corporation and Oshkosh Defense to honor and support our active and retired military service as well as their families on Friday, November 15 at 7 p.m. at Menominee Nation Arena. The partnership, in its first season, runs in conjunction with Hoops for Troops, the NBA Cares program to honor service members and their families for their dedication to our country.
"We are extremely thrilled to recognize our servicemen and women in partnership with Oshkosh Corporation and Oshkosh Defense," Herd President Steve Brandes said. "Our team does not take for granted the sacrifice and commitment by all members of the military who protect our way of life."
The night will feature an array of recognitions thanking veterans and active duty military throughout the night. The Herd will wear special military-themed camouflage jerseys that will be auctioned off at herd.cbo.io. Fans can start bidding Thursday, Nov. 14 through Saturday, Nov. 16 with the auction ending at noon. Proceeds will benefit the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), which helps service members and their families who have lost loved ones serving in the armed forces.
