LAKEWOOD N.J. - The BlueClaws are teaming up with rock station 105.7 "The Hawk" to bring a classic concert to Lakewood. Wingstock 2006 will be on Saturday, September 23. Three bands will perform live at FirstEnergy Park, home of the BlueClaws, and other festivities are planned throughout the day. Headlining the concert will be Cheap Trick and also on the bill are The Marshall Tucker Band and Mountain.

Aside from the great music, there will be the best selection of chicken wings the Jersey Shore has to offer. By days end, one restaurant will win the people's choice award as the "King of the Wings." The event will be rounded off with many exciting promotions and tables including a Vendor Village, a kid's amusement park and much more.

The event will begin at 2:00 p.m. on September 23. Tickets go on sale July 28 and ticket price is $25 for adults. Children, nine and under, will be admitted free of charge. Fans also have the chance to upgrade to a VIP package for a price of $75.The package includes your ticket to the concert, a commemorative poster and a pre-show meet and greet with the bands and radio personalities. Food and beverages will be provided in the VIP area.

On July 26, a special pre-sale will begin for members of the BlueClaws' and The Hawk's email newsletters. Fans may purchase tickets by contacting the BlueClaws ticket office at 732-901-7000, option 2.
