Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators announce today that starting pitcher Jerome Williams has been assigned to Harrisburg from the Washington National's roster. Williams was with the Senators on a rehab assignment that ended yesterday.
Williams began the season with the Nationals and started six games and was 0-5 with a 7.20 ERA before going on the disabled list. While on rehab in Harrisburg, Williams appeared in one game and worked three innings and allowed two hits and two unearned runs.
To make room for Williams, the Nationals sent David Trahan to Potomac, Nationals' single-A team. Trahan pitched in five games with the Senators and was 0-0 with a 3.86 ERA.
With the player moves today, the Senators' active roster stands at 24 players, the limit allowed by the Eastern League.
