Today, the SeaWovles meet the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) in doubleheader action at Jerry Uht Park. Today is the second of five doubleheaders the ‘Wolves and Curve play this season. From the start of last night's game (5:05 p.m.) Erie and Altoona will play four games in a span of 19 hours (12:05 first pitch today). The two squads split last night's doubleheader. Altoona took game one 4-1 while Erie took the second game with a comeback 4-3 win in extra innings. With Bowie being swept in a doubleheader last night and Akron falling to Trenton, the ‘Wolves are back in a second place tie with the Baysox at 3.5 games behind Akron in the Southern Division. LHP Nate Robertson is with the ‘Wolves on Major League rehab from Detroit. Robertson was on the disabled list with a fatigued arm. RHP Kip Bouknight is making his first start of the season against Erie. Bouknight has won three straight starts, including his most recent against New Britain when he went eight inning s allowing a pair of runs on six hits. Bouknight's last loss came against Akron on May 23...Rightie Dallas Trahern takes the mound for Erie in game two. Trahern is coming off of back-to-back losses against New Hampshire and Portland. In his last outing against the Sea Dogs, Trahern went 3.2 innings, allowing seven runs, three earned, on 11 hits.
