Williams Heads To Trenton

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades President/GM Craig Brush announced prior to the Everblades 5-2 win over Mississippi on Tuesday night that defenseman Vince Williams was traded to the Trenton Titans (ECHL) to complete the deal made yesterday that brought defenseman Jon Insana to Florida. Williams saw action in 12 games this season and registered 1 goal and 22 penalty minutes. He was placed on the 30-Day IR on 11/19 after breaking his wrist vs. Augusta on 11/15. The Ottawa, Ontario native played in 70 games with the Everblades last season. Williams played two seasons in Trenton before joining the Everblades.

The Everblades take on the Columbia Inferno this Thursday night in Columbia, SC. The Blades then travel to Columbus to take on the Cottonmouths on Friday and Saturday.
