Van Hoof Reassigned from Springfield

Pensacola, FL - Pensacola Ice Pilots Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Todd Gordon announced that defenseman Jeremy Van Hoof has been reassigned to the Ice Pilots from Springfield of the AHL.

Van Hoof has played in four games with Springfield this season. He has played in 45 games with the Ice Pilots this year scoring 4 goals, 4 assists for 8 points and has picked up 35 penalty minutes. Van Hoof is second among ECHL defenseman with a +23 plus/minus rating.

The Ice Pilots will host a street hockey clinic on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Wal-Mart located in Gulf Breeze sponsored by Coke. Gregor Baumgartner and Ryan O'Keefe will be signing autographs Wednesday night at Sports Avenue located inside Cordova Mall from 6 p.m. 7 p.m.

The Ice Pilots will play home to Arkansas on Thursday and Friday night at 7:05 p.m. Thursday is a "Thirsty Thursday" at the game with $2 beers and Sophie's Swimwear will sponsor a swimsuit fashion show during the intermission. Kids are asked to make a valentine for their favorite Ice Pilot's player on Friday night and prizes will be given out to the winners.

The Ice Pilots play home to Louisiana on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. It is Scout Night and a post game autograph session will take place with the entire team.
