
Wildcats to Celebrate Record Season

South Georgia Wildcats News Release
August 13, 2007, ALBANY, GA- The South Georgia Wildcats announced today that there will be a celebration of their record setting season in the af2 with an end of the season party Tuesday evening, August 14 at Loco's Grill and Pub on Westover Road in Albany.
South Georgia recorded 10 regular season wins and one playoff win for the first time since relocating the team to Albany in 2005. The Wildcat offense finished the regular season ranked first in total offense, total offensive yardage, passing offense, passing yards and touchdowns.
"We are extremely proud of the efforts of this year's Wildcat squad," said General Manager Darren McPhail. "This season was a huge step towards what we are confident will build a tradition of winning for many years to come. These players fought hard every time they took the field with the belief that they could win against anybody. That is a credit to the coaching staff for doing such a great job getting the team ready to play week in and week out. The future is bright for the South Georgia Wildcats."
The Wildcat's players, coaches and front office staff will be on hand for the celebration which begins at 7:00 PM at Loco's.
