
Four Dorados Earn All-af2 Honors

Hidalgo, Texas --- The Rio Grande Valley Dorados of arenafootball2 (af2) today announced that four players have been named to the postseason All-af2 team.
Both Quinton Staton (DL) and Keenan Washington (Mack LB) earned First Team Honors, while George Williams (WR) and Andre Goines (DB) were named to the Second Team.
Staton and Washington helped the Dorados establish a new af2-high for sacks in a season with 66, while individually finishing first and third overall. Staton's 18.5 sacks were the most since Khareem Smith's 17 with Memphis in 2005, while Washington finished the season with 14.5. The pair combined for 43 tackles for loss. Washington also contributed with four fumble return TDs for 71 yards while Staton had one fumble return TD.
Williams set team records for scoring (276), TDs (46) and reception TDs (42), among others. He finished the season ranked first in af2 scoring despite missing three games, and is third all-time among af2 leaders with 944 points.
Goines averaged an interception per game, finishing with 11 on the season to rank second overall in af2. He also finished second on the Dorados with 54 tackles.
