
QB Kellett Assigned to Dorados

HIDALGO, TEXAS - The Rio Grande Valley Dorados of arenafootball2 (af2) today were assigned veteran QB Josh Kellett by the af2 office. Kellett spent three seasons with RGV (2005-07) and helped lead the team to the af2 National Conference title game in 2005.
Kellett holds single season Dorados marks for passing yards (3982 in 2007) and passing TDs (86 in 2007). Career-wise, he is the franchise leader in passing yards (10,249) and passing TDs (201).
In six seasons of af2 play, Kellett ranks sixth all-time in passes completed (1262) and is fifth all-time in passing yards (15, 262).
The 30-year-old Decauter, Ala., native played in four games for the Tri Cities Fever last season.
The Dorados (5-4) return to action this Saturday on the road at Corpus Christi (2-8). Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m.
