Dusters embark on a busy weekend tomorrow evening

Amarillo, TX 6/10/09 - The Amarillo Dusters will begin one of their busiest weekends of the 2009 season starting tomorrow night.
The weekend starts tomorrow night, Thursday, June 11th. The 2009 "After Hours Chamber Social" hosted by Amarillo Sports Central will run between 4:30pm-6:30pm at the Amarillo Civic Center. Participants will be able to watch a live Dusters practice, take pictures with the players (provided by Jim Peak Photography), enjoy food and beverage, as well as mingle with fellow area business partners. Your $15-dollar show ticket will also include a game ticket to the Dusters football game June 13th.
The game festivities begin at 6pm on June 13th, as the first 250 fans through the doors will receive a crisp, real, $1 dollar bill courtesy of the Amarillo Dusters. Also, Peoples Federal Credit Union will be offering one lucky fan a chance to win cold, hard cash in the "money machine" at halftime. Fans may sign up for the "money machine" activity at the PFCU table. And lastly, sodas, popcorn, and hot dogs are just $1 dollar all night long. Community wise, your Dusters will make their way out to Amarillo's South YMCA Monday, June 15th from 11am-12pm. Players will be on hand to answer questions as well as throw around the pigskin with the YMCA students. The South YMCA is located at 4101 Hillside in Amarillo.
Amarillo (2-8) will take on the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings on Saturday, June 13 at the Amarillo Civic Center. To order your tickets, call Amarillo Sports Central at (806) 350-PASS.
