BOSSIER CITY, LA (August 13, 2007)-The Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings will travel to Tulsa to take on the Talons Saturday night in the National Conference Championship game of af2. The winner will advance to ArenaCup on August 25. Fans who would like to see the game in Tulsa can be a part of a chartered bus trip leaving from CenturyTel Center, Saturday morning.

"We're planning on leaving the CenturyTel about 9:00 Saturday morning, stopping along the way and then coming back after the game," said BattleWings' General Manager Butch Bellah. "The cost is $80 per person-that includes the bus and the ticket to the game in Tulsa."

"We want to a bunch of loud BattleWings fans to make the trip with us," Bellah added. "The players talked about how much it meant to them when we went to Arkansas a couple of weeks ago, and we want to have our own cheering section again."

"The fans' turnout at Arkansas was incredible," agreed Head Coach Jon Norris. "It means so much to these guys when they look up in the stands and see familiar faces. We're excited to have another bus trip working for Tulsa."

To book a spot on the bus or for more information, call BattleWings' Director of Ticketing, Carmen Fletcher at 746-8755.
