HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Tennessee Valley Vipers standout wide receiver and kick returner Travis Blanchard has been named to arenafootball2's 2007 National Conference all-league second team.
The former Ole Miss standout was voted a second-team special teams performer after leading af2 with an average of 188.7 all-purpose yards a game. Blanchard also set a Tennessee Valley team record and was sixth in the league with a 22.3 kickoff return average. He finished the season having caught 104 passes for 1,309 yards and 20 touchdowns and returned 70 kickoffs for 1,562 and three touchdowns.
