Whitecaps and LumberKings Rained Out

West Michigan Whitecaps News Release
CLINTON, IA - Thanks to cold, wet weather and the resulting soggy playing surface at Alliant Energy Field, Friday's scheduled game between the Whitecaps and LumberKings has been postponed.
Because of the forecast for winter weather on Saturday a double header has been scheduled for 5 p.m. EDT, rather than the originally planned single game start time of 8 p.m. EDT.
This is the second consecutive Whitecaps game that has been rained out. The LumberKings have missed four straight games and have not played since Monday because of weather problems on their trip to Wisconsin.
Pitching match ups for the twin bill remain to be determined.
