The Wheat Kings return home on Western Night presented by Assiniboine Community College. Wheat Kings will wear special ACC sweaters during the game this evening.
Doors open at 6:00pm. Puck drop at 7:00pm from Westoba Place in Brandon.

NEWS & NOTES:
Last Game: The Wheat Kings got back into the win column after picking up a 7-3 victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors. Big individual performances came from Rylen Roersma, who scored his 1st career WHL hatrick. Forward Anthony Wilson had a career night with 1 goal and 2 assists. The return of Ben Thornton was one to remember, Ben scored a goal and added an assist in his 1st game back since October 14th.Goaltender Nick Jones earned his 3rd career WHL win between the pipes.
March 3rd VS Rebels : The Wheat Kings are looking at winning the season series with the Red Deer Rebels who come to town Friday night. Last time these two clubs met was January 21st where the Wheat Kings came close to closing the game with a regulation victory but allowed the Rebels back in the game by taking a late penalty allowing Jayden Grubbe to tie it up and forced overtime. In the extra frame Kalen Lind scored the winner. Both clubs have had struggles only winning 4 out of their last 10 games. The Wheat Kings are 4-1 against the Rebels in Westoba Place over the past 5 years.
Silver Medal Sask: Team Saskatchewan came close but fell in double overtime over Team Ontario in the Canada Winter Games Gold Medal Game in Prince Edward Island last Saturday. Leading the way is Wheat Kings Top Prospect Joby Baumuller with 5 goals and 5 assists in 6 games played. Baumuller led Team Saskatchewan to a perfect 4-0 in the preliminary round and he scored a pair of goals in Friday night's semi-final against Team Quebec in a 4-3 win. Wheat Kings prospects participating include Joby Baumuller & Emerson Clark (Team Saskatchewan), Easton Odut (Team Manitoba) then Gradey Hope & Ryder Green (Team British Columbia).
Who's Hot: Brett Hyland currently has 19 goals scored in his last 21 games. Forward Nate Danielson has been stellar as of late scoring 13 points in his last 9 games. Danielson is also on a 9 game point streak.. Nolan Ritchie has 45 points in his last 36 games.
