The Westchester Knicks (12-4), the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, fell to the Oklahoma City Blue (11-3), 107-102, on Saturday evening at the Westchester County Center. They will look to go up 2-0 against Lakeland Tuesday.

LAST TIME OUT

On December 8, The Westchester Knicks (12-4), the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, fell to the Oklahoma City Blue (11-3), 107-102, on Saturday evening at the Westchester County Center. The loss ends the Knicks' seven-game win streak.

Westchester was paced by Billy Garrett's 24 points on 71.4-percent shooting. The guard al-so added six rebounds. Kadeem Allen concluded with a near double-double of 23 points and nine rebounds. Isaiah Hicks (15), Stephen Zimmerman (10) and John Jenkins (10) also scored double-figures.

Scotty Hopson led the Blue with 26 points. Richard Solomon has 20 points and a game-high 15 boards. Abdul Gaddy finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Knicks relinquished a 19-point fourth quarter lead, the only lead change of the game. The game was only tied once. Oklahoma held Westchester to just 12 points in the final window, its lowest performance in any quarter this season, while tacking on 36 of their own.

THE GET BACK

John Jenkins competed with the USA Men's World Cup Qualifying Team in late November and early December missing six Westchester Knicks games. In his return against Oklahoma City (12/8), Jenkins shot just 38.5-percent from the field, was unable to knock down a three, had just one rebound and scored just 10 points which all mark season lows. However, the veteran guard matched his career-high six assists first attained against LA on December 7, 2013.

DUB HICKS

Isaiah Hicks grabbed his sixth double-double of the season against Oklahoma City (12/8) scoring 15 points and corralling 10 boards. His 10 boards marked the seventh time this season with 10 or more. Hicks is riding a six-game streak of double-figure points.

BILLY BUCKETZ

Billy Garrett scored 20-plus points for the fifth time this season against Oklahoma City (12/8). Moreover, he shot 71.4-percent from the field and made just one triple on the evening. He has drained 10 or more field goals with one or no triples four times this season.

BIG ZIMM

Against Oklahoma City (12/8), Stephen Zimmerman shot 62.5-percent from the field for 10 points, marking the just the fifth time the big was able to score double-figures. His eight rebounds registered tabbed the most since the Knicks' season opener (Maine, 11/2) when Zimmerman hauled 10. His two rejections also matched a season-high.

KEEP IT UNDER 100

When Westchester holds its opponents to fewer than 100 points, the team is 8-0 on the season. Westchester has held six of its last seven opponents to under 100 points.

KNOCKING DOWN NINE

Kadeem Allen has hit nine shots in three-straight games shooting 50-percent or better in the span. He has also made three three-pointers and eight free throws. Allen is averaging 5.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists. His five offensive rebounds against Oklahoma City (12/8) marked a season-high.

Westchester Knicks are undefeated at 8-0 when they keep their opponents 100 points. However, they are just 4-4 when they allow their opponents to score 100 or more.

SILENT SEKOU

Sekou Wiggs has hit 10 shots in his last four games which marks the most in a four-game span this season. During that span, Wiggs is shooting 66.7-percent from the field and is averaging 6.3 points per game. He has also totaled 10 rebounds, four made free throws and five assists.

WON HUNDRED

Coach Mike Miller, who has been with the Westchester Knicks for four years, is nine wins away from the 100-win mark. Under his direction, Westchester is 91-75 (.548).

TWO-WAY PLAYERS

Beginning in the 2017 offseason, NBA rosters expanded from 15 to 17 players with the addition of two spots for players under "Two-Way Contracts."

NBA teams may have up to two players under NBA Two-Way Contracts who will spend the bulk of the season in the NBA G League and not more than 45 days with their NBA team. Two-Way players are paid a corresponding daily amount based on the number of days they play in each league. Only players with four or fewer years of NBA service are able to sign Two-Way Contracts, which can be for either one or two seasons.

Allonzo Trier and Isaiah Hicks are both under Two-Way Contracts for Westchester.

The NBA G League's flexible assignment system - which was instituted prior to the 2014-15 season - will continue to enable the independent NBA teams to assign players to the NBA G League for development or rehabilitation from injury.
