
Elie Okobo Assigned to Northern Arizona Suns

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Phoenix Suns announced today that they have assigned guard Elie Okobo to the Northern Arizona Suns.
This marks the rookie's second assignment to the NBA G League, assigned for the first time on Nov. 13. In his first stretch with the NAZ Suns, Okobo averaged 18.5 points, 9.0 assists and 5.5 rebounds in two games. He achieved a double-double in his first game and assisted on the game-winning basket as time expired in the second contest.
Okobo has played in 18 games (four starts) for the Phoenix Suns this season, averaging 6.7 points, 2.6 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 19.8 minutes per game. Last night against the LA Clippers, Okobo recorded five steals, the most steals in a game by a rookie in the NBA this season.
The Northern Arizona Suns next play tonight against the Capital City Go-Go at the Prescott Valley Event Center, beginning at 6:30 p.m. MT. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
