Stockton Kings Can't Stop Erie BayHawks

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Kings (6-6), the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, could not stop the Erie BayHawks, the NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks (7-6), tonight - losing 132-98.

In the first quarter, Kings center Daniel Ochefu scored 10 of his 21 points. The Bayhawks shot 55.6% from three-point range, making it a competitive game 29-24 at the end of the first quarter. In the third quarter, the BayHawks outscored the Kings 36-20, shooting 50% from the field compared to Stockton shooting 33.3%. The BayHawks were able to pull away in the fourth quarter, finishing the game with their biggest lead of the night.

John Gillon came off the bench for the BayHawks to lead them in scoring with 23 points, shooting 7 of 12 from the field. Daniel Hamilton had 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Bayhawks.

Guard Cody Demps and Ochefu led Stockton with 21 points apiece. Ochefu also had 12 rebounds and three blocked shots. Kalin Lucas scored 19 points, to go along with six assists and two steals in 39 minutes played.

Stockton will face the Iowa Wolves, on Thursday December 13 at 5 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena. This game can be viewed via ESPN+. Fans can watch Stockton play the Salt Lake City Stars at Lifetime Activities Center-Bruin Arena on Saturday, December 15 at 9 p.m. ET via Facebook Live.

They will then head to the NBA G League Showcase in Las Vegas, Nevada. Stockton will play two games at the showcase on Thursday, December 20 vs. Delaware Blue Coats, and Saturday, December 22 vs. Wisconsin Herd.

Stockton returns home for a two-game home stand on Friday, December 28 for Kings Collide theme night against the Agua Caliente Clippers. Star Wars Night on December 29, the first 1,000 fans (12 and under) will receive a free Stockton Kings Lightsaber.
