Westchester Knicks Acquire Alum Keith Wright

February 29, 2020 - NBA G League (G League) - Westchester Knicks News Release

WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, acquired alum Keith Wright via the available player pool. Josh Cunningham has been placed on Season Ending Injury status.

Wright, 6'8 240, who played 62 games for Westchester spanning 2015-17, was first acquired by the club via the Austin Spurs on February 23, 2016. For the remainder of that season, Wright averaged 7.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.3 blocks through 15 contests. In 2016-17, Wright packaged career-high averages of 8.8 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists through 47 games.

The Suffolk, VA native went undrafted in 2012 following a four-year career at Harvard (2008-2012).

Cunningham, 6'7 210, underwent right hip surgery which would have sidelined him for the duration of this season. Cunningham appeared in six games.
