
West Waived Due to Personal Reasons

PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Quirk Chevrolet, today announced that veteran guard Mario West has been waived due to personal reasons.
West, 26, has played for the Red Claws for both seasons of the team's existence, and last season became the first Red Claws player in team history to earn a GATORADE call up when he signed with the NBA's Atlanta Hawks.
The Red Claws will retain West's NBA Development League rights.
