
Nets Recall Uzoh

SPRINGFIELD, MA MAR. 23, 2011 - The Springfield Armor announced today that the New Jersey Nets, the Armor's exclusive NBA affiliate beginning in the 2011-12 season, have recalled rookie point guard Ben Uzoh.
In four games with the Armor (three starts), Uzoh averaged 16.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 2.25 steals in 33 minutes per game. Uzoh scored a season-high 27 points in the Armor's 113-106 victory over Sioux Falls last night.
Uzoh will join the Nets in Cleveland today and will be in uniform for the team's 7:00 p.m. game against the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight.
The Armor's roster now stands at 9 players.
The Armor, winners of their last two games, will host their final regular season game of the season on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. against the New Mexico Thunderbirds.
