All-Time Watch

We're monitoring the situation between Garet Hunt, Ryan Constant and Mike Lalonde as Lalonde's all-time lead in points could be in danger of falling to one of the Thunder's star players soon.

Lalonde's 156 career points is in jeopardy as Constant pulled ahead with 151 points with the Thunder while Hunt is right behind them both with 149.

That means Constant is just 5 points back of tying the record while Hunt is 7 points back of tying the record. Both players have missed time due to injuries this season as Hunt missed 11 games while Constant was placed on Injured Reserve on December 14.

Hunt is the only one close to Lalonde's all-time record of 72 goals with his 57 markers, putting the Thunder captain 15 shy of tying the record.

News and Notes

The Thunder's win on Saturday snapped a franchise long 11-game losing streak. The Thunder had one longer winless streak (includes OT/shootout wins/ties) of 15 games back in the 2005-06 season. The 11-game winless streak is the longest by two games this season in the ECHL. Garet Hunt is tied for the league lead with 15 major penalties. Cody Reichard won his first start for the Thunder last week since February 2, 2013. Lukas Sutter leads all rookies in penalty minutes with 156 minutes in the sin bin. Klarc Wilson is third among rookies in penalty minutes although the vast majority of his came while with Indy. Stockton's 962 penalty minutes is the most in the league and the team averages the second most per game behind the Allen Americans with 22.37 minutes-per-game. The Thunder have scored the first goal nearly 49% of the time however they only have a 9-12-0-0 record when scoring the first of the game. Stockton has the fifth best power-play unit, having converted on 20.1% of their chances. Conversely, the Thunder's penalty-kill unit is the second worst in the league having only killed 79.3% of their chances. Wheeling, Utah and Stockton are the only three teams to have allowed over 10 shorthanded goals this year. The Nailers have surrendered the most at 12, Utah behind them with 11 and the Thunder have allowed 10 shorties against. The Thunder average 27.4 shots per game while allowing 34.91 shots per game. Stockton is 7-6-0 when leading after one period and 10-1-0 when leading after two. The Thunder have yet to come back to win when trailing after two periods are in the books in 23 chances. When outshooting opponents the Thunder are just 3-2-0 (meaning they've only outshot opponents five times, four of which came at Stockton Arena). The team is 10-23-1 when being outshot by opponents.
