Walleye Notes
0 One Up, One Down Week! Toledo played one of its best games all season long Friday night, taking down Cincinnati 4-0 on Friday night at the Huntington Center. 0 Road Streak Comes to a Close! Saturday's loss at Fort Wayne ended the new Toledo ECHL record nine consecutive games unbeaten on the road (8-0-1-0). The run started with a 5-4 overtime win in Fort Wayne on December 14.
0 Still the Best of All-Time! Despite the loss Saturday, Toledo has tied the record for the most points (61) through 40 games by any Toledo ECHL team in history. The 1991-92 Storm team had a record of 30-9-1 (61 points) through 40 contests. The 2002-03 Toledo Storm team that had a record of 27-7-6 (60 points) through their first 40 games.
0 Conway the Shutout! Friday night was the third shutout picked up by the Walleye this season as Neil Conway made 22 saves in the 4-0 win over Cincinnati.
