Weekend action includes preview of state-of-the-art video screens

Binghamton Senators News Release


BINGHAMTON, NY - The Binghamton Senators, in cooperation with Senator Thomas W. Libous and Broome County Executive Jeffrey P. Kraham, will display a life-size model of the jumbo video screens to be installed by Univisions in the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena for the 2004 – 2005 AHL season.

The Binghamton Senators have commissioned Univisions to install two 9' x 12' video screens in the Arena so fans can enjoy the excitement of instant replay and graphic elements next season.

The model will be on the concourse where it'll be on display during Friday and Saturday's hockey games.

Other elements of the future Univisions Video package include:

*Television monitors and distributed video system throughout the General Concourse.

*In-house closed circuit television production capabilities to record and replay on-ice action throughout the Arena during games.

*Gobo lighting system for visual effects.

The video package is part of the Arena renovations made possible by the leadership and funding secured by Senator Thomas W. Libous and the efforts of County Executive Jeff Kraham.

Previous renovation projects have included audio system improvements and the eight new Arena Skyboxes.
