
Weather Is Perfect As Snappers Homestand Continues!!

BELOIT, WI - The Snappers continue their homestand Wednesday, July 13th through Monday, July 18th as they welcome the South Bend Silver Hawks (affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks) and the West Michigan Whitecaps (affiliate of the Detroit Tigers) to town.
On Wednesday, July 13th the Snappers and Silver Hawks open up a three-game series at Pohlman Field with first pitch coming at 7pm. It's Hump Day Happy Hour as all sodas and 12oz drafts of Miller products are just $2.00 thanks to Pepsi Americas and Ott Schweitzer Distributing. Make sure to head on down to the Firehouse Grill and enjoy Snappy's newest favorites - the "Nacho Chicken Dog" and the "Buffalo Chicken Dog" - for just $3.00!
Thursday's game is a 7pm start and fans have the chance to get a Snappers t-shirt and a general admission ticket for just $10! Also fans that purchase a Horny Goat Brewing Company beer throughout the game will receive a ticket entering them in to a drawing for a $50 gift card to the Horny Goat Brew Put in Milwaukee. Ever want to try the new "True Wisconsin Cheeseburger"? You can on Thursday nights for just $5.00!
Friday's game wraps up the series between the two teams. Gates open up at 6pm, with the game beginning at 7pm. Make sure you stick around after the game for post-game fireworks shot off by Melrose Pyrotechnics and brought to you thanks to UW-Rock County!
The Snappers are also teaming up with Universal Recycling Technologies of Janesville on Friday night for an electronics recycling collection event. Universal Recycling Technologies will be collecting an old and obsolete electronics in the Telfer Park parking lot outside of Pohlman Field. For each item recycled, fans will get a coupon for $2.00 off of a general admission ticket to any Snappers game the rest of the homestand.
The Whitecaps come to town on Saturday night for another Woodman's Markets Mac n' Cheese Saturday. Fans that bring a box of mac n' cheese to the ticket window can receive $1.00 off of a regular priced general admission, reserved seat or box seat ticket. Those that bring in a box of Shur Fine mac n' cheese will also have the chance to enter for a Snappers prize package. The Snappers will donate all the mac n' cheese to the local Salvation Army Food Bank. Gates open up at 6pm for the 7pm start and after the game fans will be treated to another spectacular fireworks display courtesy of McDonald's.
The first 500 fans through the gates on Sunday, July 17th will receive an 8" x 10" canvas Snappers picture courtesy of 96.7 The Eagle. Gates open up at 1pm and the game begins at 2pm. It is another Stateline News Family Fun Sunday as well. Check this weekend's Stateline News for a buy-one-get-one free reserved seat coupon to Sunday's game. Fans can enjoy 12oz Leinie bottles for just $2.00 each. And all fans can stick around after the game to run the bases and play catch on the field (weather and field conditions permitting).
Monday, July 18th is Snappy's annual "Summer Camp Day". Summer camps can contact the Snappers offices about discounted tickets to the final game of the series with West Michigan. The game will begin at noon, and fans can grab a monster of a deal thanks to WJVL and WCLO. For just $22, fans can get two general admission tickets, two hot dogs, two sodas, two popcorns and two adjustable hats! Our friends at Ott Schweitzer Distributing are also allowing fans to enjoy 12oz. Miller drafts for just $1.50.
