Pat Doyle Returns to Dragons; Infante Released

Dayton, Ohio-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster moves today:

Right-handed pitcher Pat Doyle has been assigned to Dayton from Carolina (Southern League).

Left-handed pitcher Ezequiel Infante has been given his unconditional release.

The Dragons roster now stands at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

Doyle has already appeared in 21 games for the Dragons this season, going 5-2 with a 3.10 ERA and one save. He spent the last 10 days with Carolina, appearing in two games and going 1-0 in two and one-third innings of relief.

Infante, who was in his third season with the Dragons, had appeared in 16 games this season and was 0-2 with a 5.60 ERA.

The Dragons play at Quad Cities tonight at 8:00 p.m. (WONE Radio 980 AM) as they start a six-game road trip against Western Division teams. The next home game is Wednesday, July 20 as they try to extend their all-time sports record for consecutive sell-outs to 818.
