Albany Devils News Release

WILKES-BARRE, PA -- The Albany Devils franchise-record seven-game winning streak came to an end in a 4-0 setback against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Saturday at Mohegan Sun Arena. The loss was Albany's first since Nov. 21 -- a 5-3 game against the Penguins at Times Union Center.

Regardless of the outcome, the Devils still own one of the top records in the AHL at 16-5-3-0. The Penguins improve on their league-leading mark of 19-5-0-0.

Netminder Yann Danis, who had his six-game winning streak halted, made 23 saves. At the other end, Tristan Jarry made 22 stops for his first career shutout and seventh win.

Offensively, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's Kevin Porter had a pair of goals. Tom Kostopoulos and Will O'Neill also scored.
