Normal, IL - The Washington Wild Thing dropped the second game of a three game set against the Normal CornBelters Wednesday evening by a score of 6-1. The rubber match between the two teams will be contested Thursday at the Corn Crib.
Scott Carcaise singled in the fifth inning to drive in David Popkins for Washington's only run in the game. Carcaise led off the inning with a double.
