Winston-Salem Warthogs Catcher Donny Lucy Earns An All-Star Nomination Lucy joins Lucas Harrell and Chris Kelly on the Carolina League All-Star squad Winston-Salem, NC - Warthogs catcher Donny Lucy was recently named to the 2006 Carolina League All-Star team. He will join Warthogs starting pitcher Lucas Harrell and infielder Chris Kelly, who were also named to the All-Star team. The Carolina League All-Stars will host the game against the California League All-Stars on Tuesday, June 27th. First pitch is scheduled for 7:07 PM at Lewis-Gale Medical Center Field at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium in Salem, VA. Lucy, who earned a political science degree from Stanford University, is currently hitting .267 with four home runs and 20 RBI. He was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the second round of the 2004 draft. The Carolina League All-Stars will take on the California League All-Stars in a game being played for the 10th time in the last 11 seasons. The Carolina League leads the all-time series 4-3 with two games ending in a tie.
