Moose Jaw Warriors News Release
WARRIORS SPLIT WEEK GAMES
Vs. Red Deer (4-0 L) The Warriors found themselves in tough Wednesday night against the Red Deer Rebels. A three goal first period sunk the Warriors. A solid Darcy Kuemper between the pipes for the visiting turned away 32 shots for the shut out.
The Rebels added one more goal in the second for a 4 ¬Â0 win. A bit of frustration broke out in the final minutes of play involving Warriors Dylan McIlrath and Jordan Wyton.
Vs. Prince Albert (4-2 L)
The Warriors found a loss tonight at home Friday night, falling 4 ¬Â2 to the visiting Raiders. Two goals in the first from Raiders Jordan Rowley and Brandon Herrod gave Prince Albert a lead the Warriors just could not close up. Quinton Howden scored early in the second to bring the tribe within one. The second would end in a score of 2 ¬Â1.
Third period had three goals... only one being from a Warrior ¬â¢s stick. Todd Fiddler scored seconds into the third. Morgan Rielly found the back of the net for the second and final Warriors marker. Michal Hlinka put the finishing touches on the win for the Raiders making it 4 ¬Â2. Brandon Stone saved 28/32 shots.

The Warriors scored a goal per period with the first coming from rookie AJ Johnson. Edmonton managed a goal in the last minutes of the first from Kristians Pelss.
Second period brought on a Dylan McIlrath power play goal. Edmonton followed up with another goal from Pelss. The final goal and the game winner came from Sebastian Svendsen with his first goal as a Moose Jaw Warrior. Tony Honejsek had a pair of assists in the win.
