Blue wins 1st Prairie Mobile Pats Skills Competition

Regina, Saskatchewan - Pats fans were treated to some great action on Sunday afternoon at the Co-operator's Centre as Team Blue came away with a 14-13 victory over Team White in the first annual Prairie Mobile Pats Skills Competition.

Here's how the competition finished up:

Fastest Skater:

Media Winner: Lee Jones (White)

Tier 2 Blackhawks winner: Jayden Simpkins (Blue)

Pats winner: Colin Reddin (Blue)

3-man Breakaway Competition:

Team White wins

Hardest Shot:

Media Winner: Derek Meyers (Blue)

Tier 2 Blackhawks winner: Levi Petrinchuk (White)

Pats winner: Myles Bell (Blue)

Accuracy:

Media Winner: Lee Jones (White)

Tier 2 Blackhawks: Team Blue wins by virtue of 2 players hitting 2 targets

Pats winner: Jordan Weal (White 4/5 targets) in a showdown with Garrett Mitchell (Blue 4/6 targets)

Breakaway Challenge:

Overall score was tied. Myles Bell (Blue) scores in a showdown with Jordan Weal (White). Blue wins 14-13.

Many thank-you's go out to the Hockey Regina Tier 2 Blackhawks, Rod Pedersen, Lee Jones, Derek Meyers and Chris Hodges, Bill and Ballsy from 104.9 The Wolf, Shae Paisley and the good folks at Prairie Mobile Communications and finally to the Pats fans who came out and overflowed the barrels with food for the Regina and area food bank.
