ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 29-13-1-2 record (15-4-1-1 at home, 14-9-0-1 on the road, 0-1 in overtime, 3-2 in shootouts) and in third place in both the EASTERN CONFERENCE and the WHLKOOTENAY was ranked ninth in the BMO CHL MASTERCARD TOP 10 RANKINGS for the week of January 10The ICE will play four of their next six games at home.

DINNER AND A GAME: The KOOTENAY ICE along with COYOTE JACK'S GRILL have announced that fans can now purchase a restaurant seat and a meal for $25.00 for any remaining regular season home gameThe meal will be off of a special COYOTE JACK'S GRILL menu that includes burgers, sandwiches, nachos and moreLimited seating is available and tickets can be purchased at the KOOTENAY ICE OFFICE.

INJURIES: JOEY LEACH will be out of the ICE line up six to eight weeks with an ankle injurySTEELE BOOMER will be out of the KOOTENAY line up four to six weeks with an ankle injuryCODY EAKIN (hand) and LUKE PAULSEN (head) will both be out of the ICE line up day to day.

ONE YEAR AGO: After 45 games of the 2009-2010 season the ICE were 27-15-1-2, after 46 games 28-15-1-2 and after 47 games 29-15-1-2.
