Walsh Recalled To Grand Rapids

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks, announced today that forward Mike Walsh has been recalled by the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League. This is Mike's first trip to Grand Rapids.

Walsh, the native of Northville, MI, has scored 14 goals while adding 17 assists in 54 games with the Storm this season. On February 17th, Mike collected his first professional hat trick in a 3-0 win against Columbia. Eleven of his fourteen goals have come since January 27th. The Grand Rapids Griffins play tonight against the Peoria Rivermen.
