Graham and Pikkarainen recalled, Donnelly traded to South Carolina

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers announced three transactions today as Bruce Graham and Hannu Pikkarainen were recalled to the Hartford Wolf Pack, of the American Hockey League, and John Donnelly was traded to South Carolina for financial considerations.

Graham, 21, had skated in 50 games with the Checkers this season. He is currently the Checkers leading goal scorer with 30 goals, which has him ranked seventh in the ECHL. Graham also has 15 assists for a total of 45 points.

Pikkarainen, 23, had played in three games with the Checkers registering two assists and a plus/minus rating of +3.

Donnelly, 27, skated in eight games with the Checkers registering one goal and one assist.

The Checkers are back at home Sunday vs. the Florida Everblades.
