
Walleye Add Two to Team Staff

Toledo, OH - The Walleye have added Strength and Conditioning Coach Dan Jones and Sports Psychologist Ruth Ann Tetz to their staff roster.
"In talking to our returning players they felt more structure and emphasis needed to be put into our off-ice work-outs," said Head Coach Derek Lalonde.
Jones is the founder and owner of EAO Sports and has trained and worked with countless professional and amateur athletes across various sports since 1985. He has directed numerous off-ice strength and conditioning for hockey camps in the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan area. Jones discussed his addition to the staff. "I am thrilled to be a part of the Toledo Walleye and am looking forward to working with Derek Lalonde and the team to meet and exceed their objectives this season."
Jones has hosted seminars on sports specific training for USA Hockey clinics while applying the latest, proven and scientific based methods to his training. He resides in Lambertville, MI with his wife Sandy and his two daughters Katelyn and Sarah.
Tetz, a licensed Clinical Psychologist, who runs her own practice, Psychological Directions. She has spent more than two decades offering mental coaching to athletes of all ages and levels. The Pontiac, Michigan native earned her doctorate from the University of Toledo.
"Sports psychologists aid players in working on life issues which might block them from attaining their goals," says Tetz. "I'm honored to be a part of the Walleye team and hope to assist in helping players reach their potential."
Coach Lalonde says he and his coaching staff want to utilize as many resources as they can to help develop the team. "R uth Ann will be a huge asset in helping our players prepare mentally to perform better. We are happy to have her on board."
