K-Wings Promotional Schedule Announced

Kalamazoo, MI- If they haven't already, fans of the Kalamazoo Wings can now start planning their visits to Vanrick Drive as the K-Wings unveil their promotional schedule for the upcoming 2014-15 season.

The K-Wings have enriched their promotional schedule with a variety of themed nights that will surely entice the entire family.

Tickets for all 36 K-Wings home games are on-sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office, www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000. Fans can get all ticket information at www.kwings.com.

Fans that plan on attending multiple games can avoid service fees plus enjoy a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 12, 24 or 36-game flexi-plan. These plans, along with full-season and group ticket packages may be ordered through the K-Wings Sales office by calling (269) 743-6011.

The K-Wings will drop the puck for their home opener on Friday, October 24th with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Fort Wayne Komets during the 11th Annual Orange Ice Game presented by Meijer and Townsquare Media. Fans are encouraged to dress in costumes for Halloween festivities including a chance to win $100 for both an adult and child in the K-Wings' best costume contest.

On November 8th, the K-Wings will host Military Appreciation Night presented by AmeriFirst Home Mortgage. Starting immediately the first 300 active or retired military personnel that come to Wings Stadium Ticket Office will receive a FREE ticket to the game. Family members of the service men and women or any active or retired military members that want tickets after the FREE allotment have expired can purchase a seat for an incredibly discounted cost of $8.

The 2014-15 promotional schedule will also feature some fun traditional nights including the 11th Annual Orange Ice (October 24th), Military Appreciation Night, presented by AmeriFirst (November 8th), Education Day morning game (November 12th), Scout Night (November 14th and March 7th), Teddy Bear Toss Night, presented by Little Caesars (December 12th), 13th Annual New Year's Eve Bash (December 31st), 4th Annual Susan G. Komen Night (February 21st), Kibbles and Sticks bring your dog to the game night (March 8th), the K-Wings' 34th Annual "World Famous" St. Patrick's Day Green Ice Game (March 17th) and Fan Appreciation Night (April 12th).

There will be several season-long promotions on the calendar including Sunday's "Family Hockey Day in the 'ZOO" (first 500 kids receive a giveaway item and will also eat FREE. There is also a post game skate with the players). Starting in November every Friday home game will be 3, 2, 1 Countdown to Fun! featuring $3 beer, $2 Pepsi productions and $1 hot dogs.

When fans come to Wings Stadium they will also witness many new improvements. During the summer, Wings Stadium upgraded its WI-FI service to the entire complex.

Fans will also be able enjoy many new and delicious items to the Wings Stadium Concessions menu. This season fans will be able to purchase Ribbon Fries, TNT Burgers, fresh apples and warm caramel, Quesadillas, freshly made caramel corn and a new softer pretzel. Also new at the Concession Stands this season will be a Winter's Premium Deli Mix and Match 6-Pack, which will include either 2 canned beers, draft beers, Mike's Hard Lemonade, or wine with either four hot-dogs, chili dogs or sausages. Concessions will also be offering a Winter's Premium Deli Family 6-Pack that will come with 2 Pepsi products and four hot dogs or sausages.

For those looking for a bargain, the K-Wings will be directing fans to some fun Wednesday promotions or to Ticketmaster for great savings. During the season each Wednesday will feature a special wacky promotion (see below) geared to save fans money. Also during the season, fans that purchase tickets through Ticketmaster can save money by using the "Me plus Three" offer. This gives fans the ability to purchase four game night tickets for the prize of three.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000. Ticket office hours are Tuesday-Friday 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Individual ticket prices for home games are $14 and $18 for adults and only $8 for kids ages 12 and under. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice games and the New Year's Eve game) are just $1 more. Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single-game tickets in advance. Tickets purchased on the day of a game increase by $2 (adults only).
