Cincinnati Cyclones News Release

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today several roster moves. They have traded defenseman Dylan King to the Wheeling Nailers and acquired forward Lindsay Sparks from the Greenville Road Warriors - both for future considerations. In addition, the club has released forwards Andrew Huff, Bryce Williamson, defenseman Devon Krogh, and goaltender Joe Howe.

Sparks, a 24-year-old, comes to the Queen City after splitting time between South Carolina and Greenville last season. In total, he amassed 21 points (7g, 14a) in 43 regular season games. The University of Michigan alum also appeared in 10 Kelly Cup Playoff games with Greenville, earning a single assist.

Cincinnati's 2014 Season Opening Roster is expected to be announced tomorrow. The Cyclones open the regular season on the road as they visit the Toledo Walleye this Saturday, October 18 at 7:15pm ET.

The countdown to the 2014-15 First Face-Off is nearly complete! The Cyclones will return for another season of hockey at U.S. Bank Arena on Saturday, October 25 when they play host to the Kalamazoo Wings at 7:30pm.
