Frankie Reed had his strikeout stuff working, punching out five batters over the course of his two scoreless innings, while allowing two hits and two walks along the way.

Jheyson Manzueta gave a brilliant performance, tossing four innings of shutout ball, allowing just one hit over his Wednesday night outing.

Nick Wittgren allowed two hits and struck out three batters in his two scoreless innings of relief.

James Leverton (L, 0-1) was dealt the loss after allowing one run (earned) on one hit, while also walking a batter in the 0.1 innings he worked in the bottom of the 15th.

Tim Adleman (W, 2-3) earned every bit of the win on Wednesday, throwing four shutout innings of relief, while only allowing two hits and striking our four Suns.

Joe Benson (HR, 6) opened up the scoring on Wednesday night with a one-out solo home run to center in the top of the second, putting Jacksonville in front 1-0 early on.

Pensacola responded with two runs in the bottom of the third, using back-to-back two-out RBI doubles from Brodie Greene and Ryan Wright to put the Blue Wahoos in front 2-1 after three innings of play.

The Suns re-gained the lead on a two-run single off the bat of Wilfredo Gimenez in the top of the sixth, putting Jacksonville back in front 3-2 after five and a half innings of play.

Seth Mejias-Brean tied the ballgame up at 3-3 in the bottom of the sixth inning after grooving a RBI single into left field.

After both bullpens put forth masterful efforts, it was Pensacola who finally broke the tie in the bottom of the 15th, with Jesse Winker's RBI single sending the Wahoos home as 4-3 walk-off winners.

At 15 innings and four hours, 29 minutes, Wednesday's ballgame is the longest in both innings and durations that the Suns have been involved in during the 2014 season.

The Suns and Blue Wahoos will be back at it on Thursday night with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m. CT (7:30 p.m. ET). The Suns will send out right-hander Jose Urena (6-6, 4.33) while the BayBears will counter with a right-hander of their own in Ben Lively (0-1, 2.89).
