Brewer first joined Mobile on May 21 from Triple-A Reno. In his first stint with the BayBears since 2012, Brewer was 3-2 with a 2.91 ERA in seven starts. In a win over Huntsville on June 9, the Paradise Valley native carried a no-hit bid into the top of the sixth inning while striking out a career-high 13 batters.
