Back and forth the game continued in the top of the fifth inning as Dillon O'Krane and Guillermo Reyes singled, and with two outs Price cashed a run with a base hit, Julio Ramirez walked to load the bases, and Miller unloaded the bases with a grand slam for a 8-3 Calgary lead.
The scoring continued in the bottom of the frame as Stephen Yoo doubled, Steve Boggs singled, and Yoo scored when Keeble hit into a double play for a 8-4 score.
For a fourth straight inning the Flyers scored in the sixth as Harris and Benavidez singled, Derek Perren double in a run, and Goethals smashed his second home run of the game, a three-run big fly, to tie the game. The pitcher Kevin Altman followed by walking, Boggs singled, and Rohan gave his team the lead with a run batted in base hit, Harris doubled in one, Benavidez was hit by a pitch to load the bases, and Perren singled in two more for an eight-run frame and a 12-8 lead.
