Victoria Seals Set to Salute Youth Baseball

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Seals are proud to announce that they will be hosting a Salute To Youth Baseball from June 21-24 at Royal Athletic Park. As part of the celebrations, all BC Minor or Little League Baseball members will be eligible to receive a complimentary ticket to see the Seals take on the Calgary Vipers in a four-game divisional series!
"Connecting with our community and the younger generation of baseball players is something our organization really values," said Seals President Darren Parker. "Every one of our players could tell you the story of their first trip to a professional ballgame, and those are the kind of memories we want to create at Royal Athletic Park."
With plenty of festivities planned around the park, the Seals are inviting all youth baseball teams to show up in uniform and have the chance to take the field prior to the first pitch. Prizes will also be awarded in a number of categories, including best team banner!
Tuesday night's game also plays host to Team Poster Giveaway Night, presented by Coca-Cola. The first 1,000 fans through the door will take home an official Seals team photo, with plenty of room for autographs from your favourite players.

The Seals have returned home to play the first of three straight against the Edmonton Capitals beginning tomorrow night, a 7:05 p.m. (PT) start time at Royal Athletic Park. The game will also be broadcast live at www.victoriaseals.ca and on 88.1 FM inside Royal Athletic Park.
