Victoria, BC - Whether it's Texas up against San Francisco or the Yankees looking for a World Series repeat against the Phillies, the Victoria Seals and Shark Club Bar & Grill will be there to host a World Series Party just in time for Game Two on Thursday, October 28th. The weather may be getting cooler, but the baseball is just heating up!
Join Seals infielder and Victoria native Charlie Strandlund plus team staff, sponsors and fans for a night of prizes, specials and 2010 World Series action on the big screen. Located at 2852 Douglas Street, the Shark Club will be offering beverage specials all night long, including the brand new 'Seals Shot' for only $4.00! Prizes include 2011 Seals tickets, club merchandise, and gift certificates from the Shark Club.
"Community events like these are a great opportunity for both the Seals players and staff to mingle with our supporters and fans of the game," said Seals General Manager Roxann Bury. "The Shark Club is an excellent partner of the Seals and were looking forward to giving away tons of prizes to go with an exciting night of playoff baseball!"
One lucky fan in attendance will also win a game-worn jersey from Seals pitcher Chris Bodishbaugh, who just today signed a contract with the Chicago White Sox. The World Series Party kicks off with the first pitch of Game Two at 4:30 p.m. (PT). Only those 19 years and older are permitted at Shark Club.
