Vipers Head to Playoffs With A 15-2 Victory Over Tijuana

Calgary Vipers News Release
The Calgary Vipers finished the 2010 Golden Baseball League season with a bang and a 15-2 victory over the Tijuana Big Horn Sheep at Desert Sun Stadium in Yuma, Arizona. Breaking open a 4-2 ballgame the Snakes scored 11 runs in their final three at-bats to finish with a lopsided victory. Calgary's second half record finished at 30-15 and overall the Vipers finished 53-35 on the G.B.L season.
The Vipers will begin the 2010 Playoffs on the road in Chico against the Outlaws with Games 1 & 2 of a best of five series on Tuesday September 7th and Wednesday September 8th with both games starting at 8:05 PM MDT.
Calgary returns home to Foothills Stadium for Game 3 of the North Division Championship Series on Friday September 10th at 7:05 PM MDT. If necessary Games 4 & 5 will also be played in Calgary on Saturday September 11th and Sunday September 12th.
