
OC Takes on Maui in Doubleheader; Playoffs Two Days Away

WAILUKU, Hawai'i (September 5, 2010) -- The Orange County Flyers are at Iron Maehara Stadium to face Na Koa Ikaika Maui in a Sunday doubleheader in the second-to-last day of the regular season. First pitch of tonight's first game is at 7:05pm Pacific (4:05pm Hawaiian). With three games remaining before the playoffs, the Flyers are a game behind Na Koa for the South Division second half title. Click here to listen live to tonight's doubleheader on Maui.
With the Flyers guaranteed to host only one playoff game, all Flyers fans are encouraged to come out to "The Station" and support the Flyers' quest to become the first two-time GBL Champion. OC opens the playoffs in Maui on Tuesday and Wednesday before returning to Fullerton for
Game 3 of the South Division Series on Friday, September 10. Games 4 and 5 of the best of five series would be played in Fullerton on Saturday and Sunday, if necessary.
The Flyers could host up to six total playoff games, and as a bonus to fans, all games will be "Thirsty Thursdays" regardless of the day of the week, meaning $2 beers and sodas throughout the playoffs.
