Key game: 4-3 Shootout win on February 25, 2006. With that win, the Salmon Kings earned three of a possible four points from the Conference-leading Aces. Ryan Wade scored the game winning goal in the Shootout.

LAST GAME:

Victoria returned with a vengeance in game two of the series versus Utah at the E-Center. Victoria native Mike Stutzel earned the first Victoria hat trick and Julien Ellis controlled the crease for a Salmon Kings victory. The Salmon Kings powerplay was perfect in the first period and finished with four goals in six opportunities. The Salmon Kings carried a 4-1 lead into the final frame. The Grizzlies tried to claw back with markers from Brendan Cook and Blake Robson, but the Salmon Kings shut the door and split the series. 5-3 Salmon Kings
