Idaho Steelheads News Release

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads Hockey Club has launched a new, interactive website (www.idahosteelheads.com) that will give fans greater access to the players and to Coach Laxdal.

The site, designed by Boise-based es/drake, was developed around concepts found on NHL and NFL sites and features video highlights, player and coach posts, photo galleries, and a game center with live game night statistics and in-depth post-game recaps. Through the Podcasting and RSS features, es/drake is utilizing cutting edge technology that allows fans to interact with the Idaho Steelheads in exciting new ways. In addition, the site allows fans the convenience of printing tickets at home from the site alleviating visits to the box office.

Eric Trapp, Steelheads General Manager said, "This website is an online extension of the game day entertainment fans expect to see when they come to an Idaho Steelheads hockey game." He added, "We're excited about the partnership with es/drake and the direction they are taking our interactive content."

The site is integrated with LeagueStat, the company that manages all ECHL statistics, which allows users to access Steelheads player stats and live game updates.

The Steelheads is the first in a portfolio of sites es/drake is developing for Idaho Sports Properties, owners of the Qwest Arena, Idaho Steelheads, and Boise Burn Football Club. Qwest Arena and the Boise Burn websites will soon follow.

Steelheads' ticket packages for the 2006-07 regular season are on sale now. Tickets may be purchased by calling 208.383.0080. A variety of packages are available, including Full Season Tickets, Flex Plans, Suite Rentals, Group Outings, and a NEW Perfect-10 Season Mini.
